DRB provides autonomous drone inspection services for transmission/distribution power lines, renewable energy production sites, such as wind, hydroelectric and solar farms, industrial plants, such as upstream offshore oil platforms, and infrastructures.
Founded in 2016, it was recognized as a spin-off of Politecnico di Milano. In the same year, it joined the Next Energy acceleration program, sponsored by Terna Spa, and won first prize.

SEGE supported Drone Radio Beacon in the Terna competition, providing strategic support in drafting the business plan and in the search for funders and commercial partners.
In 2019, SEGE joined the company together with GFM, and a partnership was established with Energy Mecosur for the LATAM market.
Within DRB, SEGE developed and manages the inspection and reporting platform.
